Teen Project RACE President Kayci Baldwin wins Princeton Prize in Race Relations
Official Annoucement:
Teen Project RACE President Kayci Baldwin has been awarded the
2009 Princeton Prize in Race Relations. Princeton University and
its alumni recognize that the issue of race relations continues to
be one of the most urgent and important challenges facing our
country. The Princeton Prize was created to identify and commend
young people who are working to increase understanding and mutual
respect among all races.
Kayci was selected as a result of her
work over the last few years with Teen Project RACE, her
leadership of her school's Multicultural Club, an in-depth
mentorship project on Multiracials in Medical Research and her 5
week voyage exploring post-apartheid South Africa.
