Nadia Wooten

Nadia Wooten – Teen Vice-President


Nadia Wooten is a dynamo! A senior at Klein High School in Spring, Texas, she has served as an officer in B.E.S.T., Bringing Exceptional Students Together, and the National Honor Society. Heavily involved in academics, and ranked among the top 2% of her class, Nadia also enjoys playing the cello, and honing her skills in various disciplines of art like photography, drawing, painting, laughing, traveling, and fashion. She also plays tennis for recreation. Capitalizing on her enjoyment of tennis and involvement in B.E.S.T., she is starting a program, called Love All. This program includes basic skills clinics taught by tennis professionals to children with intellectual disabilities. Nadia’s objective in starting this program is to help establish a connection with this particular population of students along with their parents with those in the community.
“I am involved in many awesome things, however, when I heard about Project RACE, I was extremely excited to be apart of an organization that addresses the issues and concerns of multiracial young people such as myself.”
