Obama Cites Coloureds In Speech

Obama cites Coloureds in a speech in honor of Mandela, Dilma Rousseff didn’t

The U.S. president , Barack Obama in his speech on Tuesday (December 10) in honor of South African leader Nelson Mandela in Johannesburg, South Africa, explicitly cited the mestizo people of that country, the Coloureds:
“Mandela showed us the power of action; of taking risks on behalf of our ideals. Perhaps Madiba was right that he inherited, ‘a proud rebelliousness, a stubborn sense of fairness’ from his father. And we know he shared with millions of black and colored South Africans the anger born of, ‘a thousand slights, a thousand indignities, a thousand unremembered moments…a desire to fight the system that imprisoned my people,’ he said”.
In contrast to the U.S. President, the white President of Brazil, Dilma Rousseff, from a country with the largest mestizo population of Americas, merely said that “we, Brazilian nation, that have proudly African blood in our veins.”
The president of Brazil defends the imposition of the Negro identity on the native Mestizo people and is implementing apartheid policies in the country.
According to several newspapers, it was possible noted many people withdrawing during his speech.
