How Can YOU Make A Difference in Multiracial Understanding?
- Join Project RACE. The price is right (FREE), but the impact is great. Your joining helps show our voice to decision makers that we stand united for multiracial advocacy.
- Talk with other people in your area about multiracial issues from your perspective to gather support. Often, all that is needed is a frank conversation, and a discovery of how we are all hurt by the simple classification so often used to slot people.
- Speak with your legislators about introducing and supporting legislation. You can call, email, but a visit will have the most impact. If you need talking points or scripts, contact us. We have been through this before.
- Donate money to Project RACE to help support our efforts. Your donation allows us to help work in partnership and get the word out to more, and create more resources for all.
- Organize a bone marrow donor drive in your community. This will help those in need, and those wanting to understand.
- Ask us about our Speaker’s Bureau.
- Volunteer to help us in the following areas:
- Members in the Washington DC area are needed to attend meetings
- Pro bono legal representation
- Grant writers
- Medical issues committee members
- Medical experts to help with our issues
- Check the Project RACE WEB site often for updates and new ideas for supporting multi-ethnic understanding!
