News Flash: California acknowledges multiracial students!

We did it! California's Department of Education has publicly posted their acceptance of our proposal for "Multiracial students/staff may select two or more races" on school forms! This will open the door for every state to add multiracial to their school forms, since every state reports to the same federal Department of Education. This will make a difference for multiracial K-12 students in each district nationwide.
Project RACE and Teen Project RACE members appreciate this action on behalf of multiracial students by State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Jack O'Connell and Keric Ashley, Director, Data Management Division, P-16 Policy and Information Branch, California Department of Education.
