New Project RACE Board of Directors Members

We welcome three new members to the Project RACE Board of Directors. We are so fortunate that they have agreed to join us in guiding Project RACE and Teen Project RACE in our future endeavors.
JENA NORTON is a retired educator who has worked specifically with special needs children for many, many years and is involved in rights for individuals with disabilities. Jena is active on boards and with associations in many areas, including civil rights. She has been a strong and vocal advocate for multiracial children in the California schools. A Ph.D. candidate in Special Education, her "retirement" includes completing her doctorate.
SHARYN DOANES is a human resources professional in Georgia. Her experience includes Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Labor Relations for Choicepoint, Inc., and Director of Human Resources for The New York Times. Sharyn has B.A., J.D., MBA, and Masters of Law degrees. She currently handles employment law issues for the Law Offices of Michael Bergin. She is the very proud mother of Jennifer and Jessica Bergin and has been a Project RACE member and mentor for 20 years.
JENNIFER BERGIN is a law school student in Atlanta, Georgia. She and her family have been very active Project RACE members since 1991. Jennifer and her family were an integral part of getting our legislation for multiracial children and adults made into law.
