Charleston, South Carolina

Today we are sending our thoughts and prayers to the community of Charleston, South Carolina. The multiracial community continues to hope for healing for the families,  friends, and members of the congregation. We will continue to fight against racism wherever it occurs.

  1. Catherine Lewis says:

When I heard the news about the senseless murder of nine people attending a Bible study, I couldn’t stop weeping. My heart is broken for the families of these fallen heroes. They aren’t just some black people who are thousands of miles away from me. They aren’t just some people I don’t know and therefore don’t have to care about. No. They are family. I am a white, Christian, liberal female and I care when my family is slaughtered just because they are black.
